Are these carts legal on the streets of Big Bear?
Yes. Our vehicles are California-registered, street-legal Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs). They are equipped with all required safety features, including seat belts, mirrors, headlights, and turn signals. They can be driven on any street in Big Bear Lake where the posted speed limit is 25 mph or below.
What if something goes wrong with the cart?
We’ve got you covered. Every Idle Rides Co. cart is GPS-tracked and equipped with a remote safety shutoff for your protection. If you experience any issues, simply call or text our support line and we’ll respond immediately—whether it’s troubleshooting, arranging on-site assistance, or providing a replacement vehicle if needed.
Can I book for multiple days?
Absolutely. Multi-day bookings are available and can be arranged directly through our booking form. Our pricing is per day, and guests are welcome to keep the cart for their entire stay, subject to availability.
Where can I drive the cart?
You may operate the cart anywhere within Big Bear Lake city limits on streets posted at 25 mph or lower. Driving on roads above 25 mph or outside of approved areas is prohibited. A local driving map is provided with every rental so you can explore Big Bear’s most scenic, cart-friendly routes.
